ZYGI brought a tray back to the bedroom with cheese, crackers, fruit, and trail mix—finger snacks he and Mo could eat in bed. He raised an eyebrow over the fact Mo had slipped his underwear back on, but decided not to make an issue about it. He stripped out of his clothes and grabbed an old pair of boxers. He slept raw, but decided not to for tonight. His wayward dick didn’t need any more encouragement. Just seeing Mo sitting there, in his bed, had the damn thing perking back up.

“Hungry?”

“Yes! What do you… oh, that looks good.”

After nibbling on the snacks, and each other, Zygi pulled Mo down in the bed and curled around him. Mo fit into his big body perfectly. It had been a long time since he had allowed a sub to stay the night. In fact, most of the play he’d done in the last year had been more professional. He’d go to his favorite club and find a sub who was willing to play. And he was damn tired of it. Zygi kissed Mo on the neck, and they drifted off to sleep. Hours later, Zygi shifted in his sleep and turned over onto his back. The fog in his mind had lifted, and he could hear more of the elusive conversation he’d been trying to remember.

“Do you know who I am?”

“I know you’re Cupid…. I also know you’re Cam and I love you—I want to be with you. Do you understand what I’m saying?”

“Jeff, I’m so sorry! I didn’t want you to find out like this… can be dangerous.”

“He actually showed amazing restraint. No one died, the casino wasn’t burned to the ground, and Vegas is still standing.”

“Thanks, Morpheus.”

“Well, it’s the truth.”

The fog closed back up, the voices retreating. Zygi’s eyes snapped open, and he stared up at the ceiling as the words played his mind—one word in particular… Morpheus.
